M-Toluidine is a white to yellowish crystalline powder.  M-Toluidine is used in the synthesis of organic chemicals and as a laboratory reagent.

Properties of m-toluidine (C7H9N):

  • Reactivity: M-Toluidine is a flammable chemical compound and can react violently with oxidizing agents.
  • Melting point: The melting point of m-Toluidine is around 44°C.
  • Solubility: M-Toluidine is soluble in ethanol and ether, but sparingly soluble in water.
  • Health risks: M-Toluidine is considered a possible human carcinogen, and can cause skin and eye irritation. It can also cause organ damage in the event of prolonged exposure.
